How I would love to visit Wynter's Trees ， it sounds like such a gorgeous place to work and live， after all it's a Christmas Tree farm， and with it's new additions this year， it is starting to feel like a one stop shop for all your Christmassy needs。 I loved the crafters beach hut concept， I loved Bandit， our 4 legged friend who just always seemed to be cute and photo worthy， I loved the green idea of renting your own live tree， and seeing how your own personal tree grows from year to year。 Howe How I would love to visit Wynter's Trees ， it sounds like such a gorgeous place to work and live， after all it's a Christmas Tree farm， and with it's new additions this year， it is starting to feel like a one stop shop for all your Christmassy needs。 I loved the crafters beach hut concept， I loved Bandit， our 4 legged friend who just always seemed to be cute and photo worthy， I loved the green idea of renting your own live tree， and seeing how your own personal tree grows from year to year。 However Liza Wynter has never been keen on the farm and hasn't been back since her father passed away， despite being the majority share holder。 And David and Ned who are running it and part owners too， are not happy with the real reason that she has finally been persuaded to come back。 And David especially never gives up hope that Liza will take her rightful place at the helm of business。 There must be something rather magical in the air in Wynmouth， as Liza is slowly sucked into the amazingness of the place， although whether she will follow her head or her heart is another matter。 I loved all the various people we get to meet， especially Liam who is a fine young man， all of the crafters， and Maya who helps with the trees too。 This is another fabulous Christmas book from Heidi Swain， that I thoroughly enjoyed reading。 I loved the recurring characters from the previous Wynmouth book， but this completely stands alone with a new focal point completely。 It's even made me feel quite festive too， and wondering whether in the middle of October if it's too early to put up a tree or not！ Thank you to Simon and Schuster and Netgalley for this copy which I have reviewed honestly and voluntarily。 。。。more

What a wonderful read。 The beautiful descriptions of the plantation and the Christmas lights were breathtaking。 I loved watching the friendships grow between Liza and everyone， I loved how they all pulled together and supported each other。 Watching Ned and Liza navigate their feelings for each other was wonderful， they shared so many special moments yet were still in denial。 I loved the moment， whilst wrapped in a tiny towel standing in the frost Ned finally voiced his feelings。 I loved this fro What a wonderful read。 The beautiful descriptions of the plantation and the Christmas lights were breathtaking。 I loved watching the friendships grow between Liza and everyone， I loved how they all pulled together and supported each other。 Watching Ned and Liza navigate their feelings for each other was wonderful， they shared so many special moments yet were still in denial。 I loved the moment， whilst wrapped in a tiny towel standing in the frost Ned finally voiced his feelings。 I loved this from start to finish and I hope we get to visit again and see all the wonderful ideas out into action。 。。。more

After reading The Secret Seaside Escape I couldn’t wait to come back to the beautiful village of Wynmouth with its gorgeous beach and wonderful community spirit。 Whilst the book mostly takes place away from the village， there were still a few visits into town and to the beach and some familiar faces made an appearance too。 The book had a wonderful Christmassy feel; you can’t more Christmassy than a Christmas Tree farm， a lodge with a roaring fire and a Husky！ Throw in Heidi’s trademark community After reading The Secret Seaside Escape I couldn’t wait to come back to the beautiful village of Wynmouth with its gorgeous beach and wonderful community spirit。 Whilst the book mostly takes place away from the village， there were still a few visits into town and to the beach and some familiar faces made an appearance too。 The book had a wonderful Christmassy feel; you can’t more Christmassy than a Christmas Tree farm， a lodge with a roaring fire and a Husky！ Throw in Heidi’s trademark community spirit with some family traditions and some Yuletide romance and you’ve got the ultimate feel good Christmas book。 I adore Heidi’s books anyway but there’s something extra special about her Christmas books that make me want to curl up with a hot chocolate and a mince pie and never leave the house， except maybe to visit a Christmas market！ 。。。more

I’ve enjoyed many Heidi Swain books before， including The Secret Seaside Escape （the first book in the Wynmouth series）， so I was pleased to receive an ARC of Underneath the Christmas Tree。I really loved this book。 The atmosphere was wonderfully Christmassy， with the Christmas tree farm， the little Christmas shops and so on。The characters were well drawn， and all of them were appealing。 I liked Liza especially。 The emotional journey she went on during the course of the book was lovely to read。 I I’ve enjoyed many Heidi Swain books before， including The Secret Seaside Escape （the first book in the Wynmouth series）， so I was pleased to receive an ARC of Underneath the Christmas Tree。I really loved this book。 The atmosphere was wonderfully Christmassy， with the Christmas tree farm， the little Christmas shops and so on。The characters were well drawn， and all of them were appealing。 I liked Liza especially。 The emotional journey she went on during the course of the book was lovely to read。 I enjoyed the developing relationship between her and Ned， and the ending was very satisfying。 But Bandit was my favourite character， of course！Overall， this was a lovely， Christmassy romance， with great character development。 Perfect to curl up with in the cold winter evenings。I was given a free copy of this book， my opinions are my own。 。。。more

You honestly cannot go wrong with a @heidi_swain book！！ This book really gives you all the festive feels， even from just the gorgeous cover！ I absolutely adored this book and loved the setting in Wynmouth。 This is such a beautiful story and full of charm and festive fun。 The characters are all so likeable and I was rooting away for all of them。 This book has definitely put me in a festive mood！！

I thought this was a really lovely Christmas book， perfect to get you in the Christmas spirit。 The characters are nice and a dog always helps。 It’s not quite a 5/5 as it gets a bit boring in places about the running on the tree plantation and it was a bit predictable but all in all a charming book。Thank you to NetGalley for my advanced reading copy。

I love all Heidi Swain's books but the festive ones are definitely my favourites。。。。。and set on a Christmas tree plantation with a festive market thrown in too this festive extravaganza was no exception！ But， what I love most about Heidi's books is that they have so much depth - not just a Christmas novel or just a romance， her stories also feature friendship， community spirit， family and entrepreneurship。Add to that a fabulous array of likable - or lovable in the case of leading man Ned - chara I love all Heidi Swain's books but the festive ones are definitely my favourites。。。。。and set on a Christmas tree plantation with a festive market thrown in too this festive extravaganza was no exception！ But， what I love most about Heidi's books is that they have so much depth - not just a Christmas novel or just a romance， her stories also feature friendship， community spirit， family and entrepreneurship。Add to that a fabulous array of likable - or lovable in the case of leading man Ned - characters and you have another brilliant， cozy， feel good read！ 。。。more

my first book by Heidi was her first Christmas one and I fell in love so had to go back to the beginning with cherry tree cafe and read them all I love wynmouth and finding out more about the characters and everything they do。 Reading one of her books is like going back to old friends I always know I will get immersed in the book and I have to keep reading to the end but then I don't want it to end。 And this book is so good。🎄 we meet liza who returns to wynters tress that was set up by her late my first book by Heidi was her first Christmas one and I fell in love so had to go back to the beginning with cherry tree cafe and read them all I love wynmouth and finding out more about the characters and everything they do。 Reading one of her books is like going back to old friends I always know I will get immersed in the book and I have to keep reading to the end but then I don't want it to end。 And this book is so good。🎄 we meet liza who returns to wynters tress that was set up by her late father after her mother died and he moved them south and away from everything she knew。 She never enjoyed it here and felt responsible for her father's death so always felt she couldn't return。 But her father's partner asks her to return as he is planning to retire and his son is hoping to take his half over but he feels liza should come and finally see the business。 But little do they realise she has very different plans to what they hope when she agrees to return。 🎄 I loved all the characters and loved how they all came together to make this Christmas extra special。 The characters really compliment each other and I loved Liam and his mum Chelsea too。 But was rooting for ned and liza from the start。 I so hope we get to meet these characters in future stories。 Now my only problem is waiting for my next book。 🎄 if you want an amazing Christmas read this is it and if you haven't read the others I really think after reading this you will want to。 。。。more

Underneath The Christmas Tree had all the Hallmark Christmas vibes which I love。 Cheesy Hallmark Christmas movies are my not-so-guilty pleasure！ It was delightfully festive and I could clearly visualise Wynter’s Trees and the lodge where Ned and Liza resided。 The descriptions were vivid and clear without being over the top。I really liked Liza as a character。 Despite the sadness she had faced in her life， she was a strong character who knew her own mind。 Ned was also very likeable and I enjoyed t Underneath The Christmas Tree had all the Hallmark Christmas vibes which I love。 Cheesy Hallmark Christmas movies are my not-so-guilty pleasure！ It was delightfully festive and I could clearly visualise Wynter’s Trees and the lodge where Ned and Liza resided。 The descriptions were vivid and clear without being over the top。I really liked Liza as a character。 Despite the sadness she had faced in her life， she was a strong character who knew her own mind。 Ned was also very likeable and I enjoyed the slow-burn romance。 Often when there’s quite a large list of characters it can become a little confusing remembering who is who。 That wasn’t an issue with this book which is testament to Heidi Swain’s skill of creating believable （and likeable） characters。Overall I found it to be a fun enjoyable festive read。 。。。more

I was already a big fan of Heidi Swain’s work so was excited to read this latest book。 It did not disappoint！This is the story of Liza who has come back to the place she had not been back to， since her father died， with the intention of selling her share of the business and not returning。 The book follows her ups and downs whilst she wrestles with her decision。 That decision is made all the more difficult by the very wonderful man that is Ned。 （I think I fell a little bit in love with Ned！） No s I was already a big fan of Heidi Swain’s work so was excited to read this latest book。 It did not disappoint！This is the story of Liza who has come back to the place she had not been back to， since her father died， with the intention of selling her share of the business and not returning。 The book follows her ups and downs whilst she wrestles with her decision。 That decision is made all the more difficult by the very wonderful man that is Ned。 （I think I fell a little bit in love with Ned！） No spoilers here but the story is a comforting and joyful read， and is interspersed with varying different relationship struggles of Lisa， and the people around her – grief， bullying， family relations， friendships and of course romantic relationships。 It makes you want to visit Wynmouth and Wynters Trees and be a part of the wonderful world that Heidi has created。Loved it and feel totally ready for the festive season to come！Thanks to Simon and Schuster UK and NetGalley for this advanced copy in exchange for my honest review 。。。more

Another cracker from Heidi Swain， beautifully written with the right mix of Christmas， sentiment， friendship and romance。 It really does touch on everything bullying， grieving and realisation to name but a few all blended together to make a magical story。 Totally recommend

Underneath the Christmas Tree was the perfect book to kick off my Christmas romance reads for the year。 It is so much more than a Christmas romance， however。 Underneath the Christmas Tree is about family， loss， grief， hope， and seeing life through someone else's eyes。 Liza has never been a fan of Wynter's Trees， the business her father started when she was but a girl。 After her mother's passing， he moves poor Liza away from home to live on a tree farm where his love for Christmas grew while hers Underneath the Christmas Tree was the perfect book to kick off my Christmas romance reads for the year。 It is so much more than a Christmas romance， however。 Underneath the Christmas Tree is about family， loss， grief， hope， and seeing life through someone else's eyes。 Liza has never been a fan of Wynter's Trees， the business her father started when she was but a girl。 After her mother's passing， he moves poor Liza away from home to live on a tree farm where his love for Christmas grew while hers soured。 As fast as she could， she disappeared from Wynter's Trees to live in the city， but that fateful decision started a domino effect that years later still had her all chewed up inside。 Unfortunately， at least in Liza's opinion， when her father passed he left the controlling interest of Wynter's Trees in her hands， but she wanted nothing to do with it。 After ignoring it for as many years as possible， Liza finally returns to the farm with intentions of selling her half and walking away。 Enter Edward， Ned to his friends， the man who has decided to take the helm from his father， David， as he retires。 He never expects the beautiful partner to Wynter's Trees to want to sell it all to him and walk away， though。 Determined to convince Liza to stay， Ned and David set about teaching Liza all the things she didn't know about the farm and the dreams her father had for it， and her。 The cast and crew of Underneath the Christmas Tree are rounded out with fun characters that impact the book a great deal。 Maya， Liam， Wren， Noah， and Chelsea all offer the story a new point of view about the tree farm and what it means to the people who live in and around Wynmouth。 For a month you live their stories as well until you realize they have all wrapped Liza in a cozy quilt of love and family， unbeknownst to her。 You feel the love everyone has for the lost Wynter and their desire to bring her back into the fold to experience Christmas the way her father did。 Even Bandit， the sweet husky that falls for Liza instantly， gets in on the shenanigans。The problem is Liza。 She can't let go of the anger she's had at her father for moving her from her home as a young girl nor the guilt she carries about his death。 She's quite sure the only way to do that is to sell her shares and travel the world， putting as much distance between her and Wynmouth as possible。 As we all know， life is what happens while we're making plans， and it is no different for Liza。 Slowly， and mostly unknowingly， Liza begins falling for the tree farm and her partner， Ned。 She refuses to let herself believe she could be happy there on the farm with Ned， so she does everything in her power to make sure Ned finds a different love this Christmas。 What she forgets is that the heart wants what the heart wants， and their hearts sing to each other。 This is a lovely romance that also reads heavily women's fiction， so if you love women's fiction， you would most definitely love this festive Christmas read。 The romance is the smallest part of the plot in Underneath the Christmas Tree， in my opinion， overshadowed by the wonderful character arc of Liza and being part of her journey to rediscover her father's dream through nonguilt-laden eyes。 I love Heidi Swain's work and this book， in my opinion， was top-notch in characters， plot， setting， and heart。 Underneath the Christmas Tree fills you with the Christmas spirit as it is meant to be and packs all the feels for a cozy Christmas read。 Grab a mug of hot cocoa， your fuzzy socks， and a warm blanket， and tuck up for a read that will remind you of the fond traditions of the holiday season， and leave your heart singing for Liza as she rediscovers her father's love and explores her new love of a lifetime。 Well done， Ms。 Swain， another five-star Christmas read！ 。。。more

Thank you so much Simon & Schuster UK and netgalley for this ARC。This latest novel by Heidi is just full of sparkles。 Liza goes back to her childhood home and has set in her mind she wants to sell her share of Wyters Trees to David but David is ready to retire and hand over to his son Ned。 What is is store for Liza this chrismas， Can Liza have a new start？ Or go running off on her travels？ This is definitely one to read whilst cosy on the sofa with a mug of hot chocolate。⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
